Water Resistance
The handbag can withstand rain; however, it is not designed for full submersion. Please avoid swimming or submerging the handbag in water, as it may damage the electronic components.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures and Vibrations
The handbag contains electronic components and batteries that do not perform well under extreme conditions. Avoid exposing the handbag to temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius or below -10 degrees Celsius, and avoid subjecting it to strong vibrations to ensure proper functionality.
Proper Use of Safety Features
The strong light and loud alarm are intended to help keep threats at a distance by drawing attention or disorienting potential threats. The handbag is not intended to be used as a weapon; however, if you find yourself in an emergency situation, you can use it to defend yourself physically. Please note that any physical impact may cause superficial damage to the handbag's exterior.
Avoid Direct Exposure to Light and Alarm
Do not shine the strong light directly into your eyes or set off the alarm in enclosed spaces unless in an emergency. Both features are designed to be highly effective and unpleasant, which could cause temporary discomfort to your eyes and ears.
Do Not Disassemble
For your safety, do not attempt to disassemble the handbag or any of its components. Doing so will void the warranty, and it may expose you to parts that could cause injury. Additionally, reassembling the product may be difficult or impossible, rendering it unusable.
Stay on the ground
Although the battery in IRMA has the certification needed to fly on an airplane and the handbag complies with all European standards, we are still waiting for the magic CE letters and going through airport security could be unpleasant, which is the last thing we want.
